A list of the products I used to decorate and remodel my salon suite into a FAIRYTALE!

I get asked about where I got the decor from when I’m at the salon suite every time! I’m compiling a list of the exact items I purchased or the closest to it I could find if it the specific item wasn’t sold anymore. I hope to inspire your creative, interior designer, version of yourself to make your salon suite fit your personality and your business!

• Unbreakable mirrors are a real thing!!! I’ve got one in the salon, one in my go kit, and one in my hair bag.

• My beautiful drapes are hiding the entry between the next salon suite over that I share with my salon partner who has a hair stylist working there. These are the perfect shade to go with the pink curtain rod they hang on.

• I absolutely love the caste iron coat hangars we have on the wall behind the door! I also replaced the outlet covers and light switch covers to match the country french design. Ladies! Don’t forget the smaller hanger for the purses and bags! I got a matching one of those as well! It really is the little things that make the difference!

• My “bar cart” is not usually stalked with liquor but I DO have it stocked with to go cups, keto creamer, stir sticks, my all time favorite comfort tea, sweetener, and lions mane extract to help boost the neuron activity! A surprisingly large amount of items fit in this little coffee station!

• As you can see, we love our hot drinks! Coffee and tea are a must in this line of work, am I right?! My single serve coffee machine is in the break room and the coffee pod holder stays in the suite so I can offer some choice of coffee or tea to my clients.

• The one furniture item I get compliments on all the time is my salon chair! It’s pink and gold and reclines all the back for perfect makeup or lash application.

• Reflected in the wall mounted full length mirror is my tanning solution dispenser rack, which is actually a liquor bottle dispenser but it works perfectly for my express tanning solutions.

• This vanity desk and chair is for when I need to work on paperwork and back-end tasks for my business. If you’re a business owner you know this part of the job is best done in comfort! I’m a plus size woman and not all stools or desk chairs are made to fit our voluptuous curves! This chair is super comfy and sturdy enough for my weight.

• Very important! Don’t forget to have your license up in clear view. It’s easy to forget when you’re having fun and making your salon suite into your own. I like these license holders because you can mount or place on a shelf or desk.

• I love anything iridescent but I keep those items limited in the suite to maintain the bridal suite aesthetic. Here are a few of the iridescent decorations and accents I was able to sneak in and incorporate!!

• The selfie wall is a big hit with our clients! Especially getting the selfie after a makeup/hair trial for your big day. We have a bench seat for storage, to have a seat in front of the selfie wall, and for extra seating when friends and family come along with the bride to be for their trial.

• As most of you know, this is not my side hustle. This is my career and how I make a living. I am ALSO a stay at home mom to a very busy little guy. He comes with me often enough to the salon for me to need a space for him to relax and stay busy. When I don’t have a spray tan client my little likes to cozy up in this plus little nook to watch his shows and play his games. These big cushions can also be used for a lash client or another place to sit for a guest or even their child. It makes the salon suite have just enough cozy with the bougee!
